What was your relationship like with your vulva before participating in this project? It was not great. Growing up, I felt like I should be ashamed of my vulva because it didn't look like the ones in porn/nudity scènes in movies. Eventually, as I grew older I started feeling that it is okay to be different… still the beauty standards affected the way I relate to my vulva.

What does pleasure feel like to you?

Pleasure feels like an electric wave through my body. It is intense, and I feel it gaining power until I climax.

Describe your experience with the Genital Electric project.

I am no stranger of taking pictures of myself for my lovers, however this felt different. This was the first time I made pictures for art, for myself. There's something about this process that made me feel powerful and loved. Although I stay in anonymity because of the agreement in relationship with my partner, being part of Alice's art for my 30th birthday felt amazing. It was the perfect gift.
