What was your relationship like with your vulva before participating in this project?

Complicated! She’s difficult to connect to at times and yet she is so powerful and she gives me so much pleasure. I don’t look at her on a regular basis but I’m learning to connect to her more deeply.

What does pleasure feel like to you?

Pleasure feels like liberation, joy, love, excitement, and comfort all rolled into one delicious experience.

Describe your experience with the Genital Electric project.

I was so excited to hear about this project! While taking the photos I was a little self-conscious but when I saw them I was fascinated by how pretty she is and so happy to see her so full and blooming.

The finished product is so pretty! I actually hadn’t noticed a small mole I had until I saw the art and seeing the finished product has made me feel more confident of my body. I think she’s beautiful.
